Joann Carhart Levy and Laura Moore hosted a welcome reception Saturday, September 9 at the Avon Public Library for their "Painting Partners" exhibit. The exhibit showcased art in both pastel and oil mediums and included paintings from many shared painting excursions including Rocky Mountain National Park, Ghost Ranch in New Mexico, workshops and classes. In collaboration with the Gypsum Public Library, Guild member Allan Finney will present his photography for the month of March. After traveling the world as a jazz musician, Allan Finney turned his attention to photography and the world around him. The natural world is his focus and Gypsum Library has his first photography exhibition. The show runs through the month of March during normal library hours.
